Year-Round Scrimmages + Cal South's Coast Soccer League + Tournaments
At AYSO United South OC, we arrange many scrimmages throughout the winter, spring and summer to supplement the high-quality training sessions provided year-round. The coaches follow an extensive curriculum geared towards player development and use the scrimmages to help achieve the learning objectives. In the fall, we play in Cal South’s Coast Soccer League (CSL). CSL provides a highly competitive platform in which teams from many different clubs across Southern California compete against each other. The league is structured to ensure each bracket consists of teams with similar abilities to help aid player development.
Throughout the year, our teams are periodically entered into tournaments. We use the tournaments to not only develop the players’ skills but to provide players with opportunities to develop life skills. At AYSO United, we ensure the environment is always true to player development. We want our players to become comfortable in challenging environments, learn how to manage their nerves, and be gracious in both defeat and victory. In the older age groups, we provide opportunities for our players to display their talents at prestigious college showcases.
