Futsal
We provide 10-week futsal training programs twice a year. See comments below from famous soccer players that benefitted from playing Futsal:
“During my childhood in Portugal, all we played was Futsal. The small playing area helped me improve my close control, and whenever I played Futsal I felt free. If it wasn’t for Futsal, I wouldn’t be the player I am today.” Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Futsal was important in helping to develop my ball control, quick thinking, passing…. also for dribbling, balance, concentration…. Futsal was very, very important, no doubt” Pele, World Cup Winner: 1958, 1962 & 1970
Within our sessions, we provide the players with exercises and small sided games to develop key fundamentals and ultimately improve their skill set and game insight.
Camps
Camps are held throughout the year to cater for all ages and abilities. We have Spring Camps, Summer Camps, and Winter Camps. Our coaches ensure all players are given ability appropriate training to maximize player development.
Shooting Clinics
These clinics are available for all aspiring goal scorers to develop shooting skills and good technique. Topics can include 1 v 1 situations, wide angled shots, volleys, shots from crosses and 'rapid fire' games. Older players will also learn movement off the ball and correct runs to maximize the opportunities in front of goal.
Speed, Agility and Quickness
Athletes can definitely benefit from improved balance, quicker feet, and a faster reaction time, and this is exactly what Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) drills help you achieve.
Goalkeeper Training
This is arguably the most important position on the field, but also the most neglected. Goalkeeping is a specialized position that requires specific techniques, tactics and fitness, and therefore specialized coaching. Our goalkeeper training partner, TAGA, will instruct and educate in all aspects of this position. The program is structured to cater for different age groups and ability levels.
Pick Up Games
Pick up soccer or street soccer is a great way to practices new skills and encourage player growth. We encourage all of our players to find times to get together and play outside of normal practice and game times. To help aid this, we sometimes provide a field and time for a number of teams from similar age groups to play 'pick up games'.
